Over the
last twenty three years Old Friend® has carefully guided the quality
and specific form of the brand. While most sheepskin slippers have had pretty
much a straight up and down counter, we developed a substantial, rounded
heel counter. This allows for secure movement and use of our slippers as
a street shoe if desired. Our packaging has been developed to not only attract
the customer but to be representative of the quality of the product found
inside. We especially distance ourselves from the coarser wool on even the most expensive products. Our production process produces an almost silk like feel to our sheepskin which not only satisfies the end user, but aids in the buying decision. We have removed all textile bindings in favor of garment grade pigskin and have sewn in detail to avoid any chance of irritants coming in contact with bare feet. We were also among the first to offer a 100% sheepskin insole instead of the cheaper processed wool used by many. While some of the larger past producers of sheepskin slippers have very much limited their styles and colors, our customers will find we have added both styling and colors to our line. We offer a full selection of men's slippers, women's slippers, children's slippers and a wide selections of gloves, car seat covers, boots, rugs and car accessories. Sheepskin is our business. We
can't have just a few colors, sizes and styles, as is the case of some
shoe companies. We offer "WIDES" and extra large sizes, along
with a variety of styles. We have been sheepskin specialists since 1981.
